Nalanda Academy opened on Bailey Road in 1994 with a clear idea: that a good school teaches children to think, not to memorise. Today we are a co-educational CBSE day school of about 1,450 students from Class VI to Class XII, on a six-acre campus in Rukanpura, Patna.
